The North Branch of Ecorse Creek Drain is a county drain under the jurisdiction of the Wayne County Drain Commissioner and was established as a county drain in 1861. The drain is approximately 16 miles long and traverses through the following cities: City of Allen Park, City of Dearborn Heights, City of Ecorse, City of Lincoln Park, City of Melvindale, City of Romulus, and City of Westland.
